Wicked the musical

Wicked

One of the best musicals on the planet - I loved it so much and I can't wait to go and see it again! Mr P took me to see it for my birthday, I only found out the day before on my birthday when i opened up the tickets.

I might even have to say that Wicked is the best musical i have seen. Sorry The Lion King.

We went to the afternoon showing on the 6th August. It was nice to have some time with just Mr P and I as Little Miss P was at home with Nanna & Grandad looking after her. 

 I was so excited when we got there and we had really good seats. The cast was great and the main girl Elphaba played by Rachel Tucker has a great voice and Glinda who played Louise Dearman was sooooo funny. The rest of the cast were great too. My two best bits were in the Act 1 the song
Popular sang by Galinda and Defying Gravity sang by Elphaba, Galinda and Citizens of Oz. And over all i found Act 1 better then Act 2 but that's just me.

Little Miss P is three

Little Miss P's pressies

Little Miss P is three - my baby is no more. As she calls herself, she's a 'big girl' now that she is three. It seems when you turn three a lot changes, like when we go out on family adventures we have to pay for her to get in now.
  Little Miss P does her dancing lesson on her own without me in the room :( and does her swimming lesson with out me in the water. And the biggest step for Little Miss P will be starting Busy Bees pre-school for 3 mornings a week. I hope she likes it. All of this because she is now three.

 On Little Miss P's birthday we didn't do much as we went to Woburn Safari Park the day before, so we didn't have to pay for her :o) But she had a great day playing on her new bike, new toys and seeing her nanny and grandad for a bit and getting many more pressies off them. So here are some photos from Little Miss P's birthday x

People have gone mad

People have gone mad, what's up with people that are rioting.... they are smashing up their own country. I hope they get what's coming to them, it makes me want to move out of here and off to another country. If this was the USA this wouldn't happen because all of them would have been shot by now, and then all of them would run back to their mummy for help.
If it was Little Miss P I would send her off to boarding school to stop her going and take her phone away and any thing else she has.

On July 31st at 12.30pm it was birthday party time for Little Miss P (3rd August), Mr P (21st September) and me (5th August).  As our birthdays are so close we had a joint party and what a weekend we picked! the sun was out, the wine was flowing and the BBQ was on, we had about 55 people. all the kids were on the bouncy castle and some of the adults too. I didn't see little Miss P for most of the day as she was having so much fun with her cousins. The only time i saw her was when it was birthday cake time.
