An Ill Little Miss P

Over the last few days Little Miss P has been ill. At first Little Miss P just woke up with a small temperature.
I asked if she wanted to go to school as she was going on a school trip to the local forest and she said yes. As I was going to go with them I thought that would be OK so I could keep an eye on her as well as the other kids. But once we got to the forest I put out a rug that I took with us and she just sat on it and didn't move, the only time she moved was to come and stand with me. Luckily we were only there for the morning. At 11.30 the kids sat down and had lunch and had been asking when Lunch was since 10.30.

On the way back to school Little Miss P started crying saying that she can't walk anymore and really needs to sleep and sit down. I was trying to keep her spirits up by saying we are nearly back at school. Once we got back to school we decided to go home and have a cuddle together. The teacher was fine with me taking her home... we even had to wait in the school for 15 mins before we could walk home as she just kept saying she couldn't do it. We had a teacher say did we need a cab but we only live 10 mins down the road so I said no thank you, we with can walk it.

Once at home she sat on the sofa and fell asleep before taking her shoes and clothes off. I did wake her up to get her upstairs and take her temperature and it was 39.7 degrees. So I stuck the fan on her as last time this happened the doc said to get her as cool as you can, even if she is saying she is cold.

That day and night all she did was sleep and cry, I was going to give it 24 hours before taking her to the docs but the next morning she was OK like nothing had happened. I still didn't take her to school as she had not eaten any food yet. By 4pm she had some food, only a bowl of pasta but that's the best food for her in the world.

She is now back to her happy little self, and I love seeing her like that.

Avon Update

This is my third campaign doing Avon and what do I think of it so far. Well, the products I think are actually okay and the price is actually quite a lot cheaper than I first thought Avon was. The bubble bath I have to say is really good but especially the new mango one, oh my it smells lovely and we go through bubble bath quite a lot in this house especially when little Miss P has a bath she has to have loads of  bubbles... what little girl wouldn't like a bath full of bubbles!

I have a few regular customers, one of them is my neighbour a few doors down, the rest of my family and a few of Mr P's workmates. I'm going to be asking a few more people if they want to order anything as down my road I have 36 houses so at least one more person might (all I can do is try).

So far it has been quite simple getting the stock delivered even though I think I must be the first one on the driving list as the delivery guy turns up at 7am on the dot. It's great because it means I can get on with the rest of my day but it means having to be up at about 6.45am and wait for him, when I'm not usually awake at the time in the morning.

This is the first time I will be trying to take something back to Avon this week because one of my neighbour's jeans didn't fit around her feet so she's ordered the next size up (I hope they fit).

I think I have been OK at doing it but I will be doing it every other campaign as I think doing every three weeks is a bit much.

Party Goodies

Its thats time of year where we have our annual barbecue for Summer's birthday, my birthday and for Mr P's birthday. Little Miss P's is on 3rd August, mine is on 5th August and Mr P's is on 21st September. We are in the process of doing up the garden for it as it does need a bit of work doing to it but I have been buying some party stuff as well and this blog post is all about it to show you what I bought.

I went to two shops one of them is called Party Delights, which is the new shop in my little local shopping centre Romford. And I went to Clintons. First I got two sets of balloons, a pack of six that has the number seven on it due to Little Miss P's birthday and another pack of balloons with bright colours and dots on them. I kind of got them more for me than Little Miss P, hehe.  If I remember correctly the balloons were from Clintons and were £2.99 for each packet.

From Party Delights we picked up some Party Bags, invitation party hats and in that range they also had a cake decorating kit so I picked that up as well. Altogether I think I spent about £7 in Party Deilghts.

I'm glad that I finally got a few bits. I really need to get the invitations as Little Miss P only has a week left at school and she needs to hand them out. Last year I let her invite all her class but this year I've made it eight people only because it was a tiny bit crazy last year.
I will be buying some more things and when I do I will show you and of course I will show you some photos from the party. Looking forward to it!

It's already starting

So it's already starting, Summer has a few friends at school. Some of them seem really lovely but there's a few that you can just tell will probably be the bullies when they are older.
They like to be the one in charge, the bossy one, the one that is craving attention all the time and telling other kids they don't want them playing their game... even taking over of the game someone else has created.

I know that children are just learning, just trying to find where they fit in and how to act, but come on now they are about to go into year 3 in September, they should know that acting like this is mean and not how to get friends.

Sometimes I think it starts at home with the Mum and Dad. If they don't get told it's wrong then how do they know? Sometimes  I think the kids just need to have it given back to them to realise that they are doing it and Little Miss P did stand up for herself recently, so I was so proud of her.

She turned around and said, 'Well if  you're going to be mean to me then stop talking me'. Go Little Lady :-) At her age I couldn't do that but I have said to her that she's got to stand up for herself and not get upset by people being like that.

That's my little rant over for now, thanks for reading x
