Stay in every singel Disney world hotel

So I have said I would love to stay in every single Disney world hotel.

So I’ve just gone onto disneyworld.com website to actually see how many hotels Disney have. And at this moment in time as I look on the website they have 15,  I never knew it was that much and I know they are building two more hotels.  I have already stayed in two Disney hotels I have stayed in Disney’s Caribbean Beach, and Disney Port Orleans Riverside. They are both in the moderate hotel category.

The main ones that I would like to stay in is Disney Animal Kingdom Hotel, Disney Art Of Animation, & Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
are in the top three hotels that I would like to visit Animal Kingdom because it would be amazing to see the animals when you wake up and overlooking the savannah, Art Of Animation  The hotel looks absolutely amazing with the lion king little mermaid and cars theme and Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa just comes across as pure luxury to me and if I stayed there I would have to have a little half day spa I think this hotel would be close to you being able to becoming a princess castle.. I do like my moderate hotels though as I know what to expect from them now. And when we book our trip we normally go moderate as we get a quick service meal plan with that too.

Here is list of the Disney hotels and I have highlighted the ones we have stayed in.

Disney Pop Century Resort
Disney All-star Music Resort
Disney All-star Movie Resort

Disney Bucket List 7-9

So let’s get down to the next three on my Disney bucket list

7) Halloween Party  ( Not So Scary Halloween Party)

Okay my husband is not a big fan of Halloween,  but I kind of find it fun and I would absolutely love to be able to go to the Halloween party as you get to see so many unusual characters, you also get to dress up yourself  As a character  do you don’t normally get to do that in the parks. Also get to go trick or treating  which is amazing.  And Little Miss P would love that.

8) Christmas Day at Disney World
How amazing would it be to be I will to wake up Christmas morning and be in Disney World.  I am just pop along to your favourite park of the day.  If we ever did do this one Christmas it would definitely be a Christmas present I will not be getting anything else other than that trip.

9) New Year eve at Disney World.
Just like Christmas time and it be fantastic to bring in the New Year in Disney World I know that the parks get absolutely crazy on New Year’s Eve so I know I’m not the only one who would love to do this.  What a great start to the year it would be to be celebrating New Year in
 Disney World.

As you can see I would like to do all the different celebrations in Disneyworld at some point.

Disney bucket list 4-6

So let’s get down to the next three on my Disney bucket list

  4)  Stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge at Disney World
So Animal Kingdom Lodge is in the deluxe range at Disney World every time we have been we’ve always stayed in a moderate Hotel,  My ultimate goal would be to stay here in the Safari room overlooking the beautiful Savannah. This room is actually pretty expensive. If I look there now to do a week over the Easter break next year it would cost £5,301  for two adults and one child.  And that does not count the park tickets,
I do think it would be amazing waking up and looking out of the balcony to see a giraffe eating.  Also the hotel looks beautiful.  And that the theme in to the hotel is just amazing.  Basically what I’m trying to say is this hotel is amazing.

 5)  Stay in every single hotel in Disney World
This kind of goes with number four I would like to stay in every single hotel that’s in Disney World. As of today there are 13 Disney World hotels, with more being built.  I have only stayed in two so far I have stayed in Caribbean beach resort.  And port Orleans riverside.
I have stayed in Caribbean beach before the gondolas were put in,  and before this hotel was done up. So it be good to go and stay in that one again.
Port Orleans riverside.  I love this hotel we stayed in the Royal Princess room. Which had a light up firework headboard.  Which both myself and my daughter absolutely loved falling asleep with that and behind us.I enjoyed how quiet this hotel was an atmosphere of this hotel, it just seemed nice and relaxed.

6)  Eats around the world at Epcot
If you know Epcot you know that they have different countries around the lake,  and one day my aim would be to eat from every single one of them countries,  and just walk around in a nice chilled out way.  Not being in a rush.  Maybe the husband can do drink around the world at the same time.
I feel like I would have to do this without my daughter or do this when she’s at least old enough to not want to go on all the rides each time she goes to the park.

Hotel Santa Fe

Hotel Santa Fe is Disneyland Paris cheapest hotel, well it was the time of booking for us,  The other one that is same two star rating is Cheyenne, as we are only sleeping in this hotel we didn’t want to go expensive so we picked this one so we wasn’t really expecting much from the hotel.

I was expecting it to be a little bit grotty really and needing work doing to it.  I was pleasantly surprised.  This hotel was clean the rooms obviously have been done recently because the paint looks brand-new the room is very clean  The staff are really friendly.  I don’t have a bad word about this hotel and I will definitely book this hotel again.

But let’s Give you more detail about this hotel,  As soon as you drive up to the gate you you come to security and they check the boot of the car not 100%  sure what for but it was nice and quick. once we find a parking space we went straight to the reception area to sign in which was nice and easy again.  We was very surprised that our room was already ready for us. which didn't have to be considering that it was ready before 3pm so we got our key( well a card) and took all our bags to our room.

We was on the 2nd floor of Mater block it did look like that this bit of the resort was getting a lick of paint. The room was nice and spacious for the three of us. and Little Miss P loved her double bed to herself. The room is an orange / brown colour. with lots of little hits to the film cars with these cute cone lights above each bed. and a cute picture on the wall of Mater asleep,  we also have a decent size telly which we didn't really use. One thing the room could do with is a little refrigerator just so you can keep some drinks cold. and maybe a few bits of food. We had a big window looking over a little court yard with a few little trees.  Now onto the Bathroom this bathroom is amazing its nice an big and a good size bath which dose take a little while to run, and the mirror looks amazing as you can see from the photo at the top. I kind of want a mirror a bit like that in my own bathroom.

Also a little note about this hotel is that its about 15 min walk to the park. and its a lot easier the waiting for a busy bus which you would most likely have to stand. even thought our legs where hurting at the end of the day it was still a nice walk at the end of the night.

So would I stay in this hotel again and the answer is Yes.

I am back again

Well I don’t know how many time I will be saying this but I am back again , hoping to do a blog post once a week, I do have a thing that I have to confess To you first,

So here we go, I am dyslexic so I had my other half  check my blog post, also I am really not  confidence  In my own ability, but now he is really crazy with work, I thought why not just bite the  bullet and triple Check them myself. And just post them I don’t have a clue how many people really read this. So does it actually matter.
I stared this blog for myself and no one else so I want it to go back to that. And if other people read it then that is a bonus. And just hope they can understand what I am writing.  ✍️

It’s still going to be about Disney and all thing that I love.  For me to look back on when I am hopeful a lot older.

Wish me luck and let’s get it started.

Disneyland Paris trip report | Day 1 | Part 2

So now we are on part two of day one of our amazing Disney trip

So next up we went on the Alice in Wonderland maze. This one you just walk around, so you can take it at your own pace and the views from the top are amazing and great for photos. We then spent some more time around Fantasyland just walking around and taking it in all in.
I wanted to get Little Miss P to try a few of the bigger rides but as it was the first day we thought we would take it slow with her. Some of the other rides we went on were Big Thunder Mountain (which is Little Miss P's favourite ride, she would go on that ride all day if she could), Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast which is always fun, Blanche-neige et les sept nains, Les voyages de Pinocchio and I did also get her on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril which went upside down and she loved it. We didn't know it went upside down until we got to the front of the queue but she was still a great sport and went on it. She was terrified but after that she loved it, which I was so happy about. So now we can go on more fast and thrilling rides as a family.

That night we were going to go back to the hotel but come across all the people waiting for the fireworks so we found a space and stayed and watched it. It is a great show, and I do love fireworks.

It was a very enjoyable day.

Disneyland Paris trip report | Day 1 | Part One

Wow it was a very early morning for the first day of the adventure. We woke up at about 4:30am to leave the house for 5am to get the ferry in time, for which you have to be there 45 minutes before the ferry leaves. We made it to the ferry in perfect time as we got let straight on and the ferry even left early, which was nice.

As soon as we got on the ferry we went to have a nice fry up to start the day. We arrived at Calais early due to the ferry leaving early and got straight on the road.  There was a bit of traffic so the satnav took us on a detour, which was nice not going all the way on the motorway.

We got to Disneyland Paris at about 2pm which was great as we had the rest of the afternoon in the park. Once in the hotel Santa Fe it was a nice surprise that our room was already ready for us. So of course we went to our room to drop our stuff off. We stayed in 'Mater' Room 210, 2nd floor.

The room was surprisingly nice but I’ll go into more details on my Santa Fe room blog post soon.

Of course the first park we went into was the Disney Park as on the first day I always have to see the castle.  It’s just a thing that we do.  I always get an amazing feeling as soon as I first see the castle walking down Main Street even though it was pretty cold that day.  Well actually the first thing we do is pick up a map,  because knowing me I would get lost around the park.

The first ride we went on was the Carousel because it actually had the shortest wait time,  and who doesn’t love going on the carousel.  We decided to stick around Fantasyland and go on It’s A Small World even though I can never get that tune out of my head afterwards.
After coming off It’s A Small World we saw people starting to sit down and then realised the parade   was going to happen within an hour, so we decided to take a seat right at the front while the husband went to get us ice creams.  The Ice Cream counter where we were sitting had just closed so he had to walk down to Main Street to get them (more details about this little story as it took him about 45 minutes to get to the ice creams). The parade is amazing and Donald Duck wanted some of the ice cream(!), and it was great to see the dragon blow out fire, which I still find amazing at the grand old age of 32.

I don't normally do long blog posts so I will be putting part two of day 1 up next week.

Disney Bucket list 1-3

As my blog is going to be more about Disney I thought I will do a Disney Bucket list.  This is the sort of bucket list where I will definitely be adding more things and taking things off as the years go by,  so I might as well start now with my list as I think it’s going to be a long one.

As there are so many things on this list I will upload them in threes in detail. Here we go with the first three.

1)  Go to every single Disney.
Yes, this is probably every Disney-mad person's dream!
There are:
  💙  Disneyland California
  💙  Disney World Orlando -  Completed x2
  💙  Disneyland Paris - Completed x4
  💙  Tokyo Disneyland
  💙  Tokyo Disney Sea
  💙  Disney Cruise line
  💙  Disney Aulani
  💙 Hong Kong Disney
  💙 Shanghai Disney

Well now, after researching how many Disney holidays there actually are I didn’t realise there were so many. I better really start saving my pennies.

2)   Stay in Cinderella's Suite at Disney World.
This one would be absolutely amazing as you can only be invited to stay in Cinderella's Castle. This
suite looks amazing.  The decor is it exactly what you think it would be, very glittery floor with a magic key and her crown on display. I know that in my lifetime I would never be able to stay in that room but it would still be lovely to do and have it as a dream.

3)   Become a Disneyland Paris annual pass holder.
This is the closest Disney to us so it would be amazing just to be able to pop to Disney whenever we want, for the weekend. I just have to find the cheapest way to do it and to see how it compares to Disney World, as it's been a while since we've been there.

Disney Trip Accouncement

Hi guys, so this is the first of the many Disney blogs that I will be writing and it’s a rather exciting one.  Yes it is that we are going to be going to Disneyland Paris.  It is a little bit of a last minute trip due to the fact that the husband and I went to Norway for eight days without Little Miss P.  So we thought for a treat for her we would go to Disneyland Paris.

It’s been definitely a few years since we last went to Disneyland Paris, I think the last time we went Summer was about three years old, she had the flu and it wasn’t the best trip.  She basically sat in the pram most of the time asleep and only got out to meet Belle and go on a few rides.
This trip I am hoping to be very different.  Hopefully this time she will not have the flu and now that she is 10 and we know that she likes the Tower of Terror (as she went on it at Disney World) it means there will be lots more fun as we should be able to go on the big rides.

I know that Disneyland Paris is very different to Disney World but now I’ve been to both recently I will be doing a difference between them both Blog post once I’m back from the trip.
We also used Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay for some of this trip and I think that will also be quite an interesting blog post.

We are doing this trip the cheapest way we know how so I will be giving a breakdown of how much it all costs at some point.

Can’t wait to see how this trip turns out as I haven’t really done any planning for it, haha.

Saving for our next Disney Trip

Yes, I know we have been to Disney World twice as a family so I know that I am lucky, but we do save money for our holidays, so I thought I would write down what I do to say for my trips.

1) eBay. I go through my clothes and Little Miss P's clothes to work out what we don't wear, use or fits us anymore and sell them as the year goes on. I have a separate account that the money is in (at the moment I have £8.49 in it). So that would get me halfway to the airport right now.

2) Don't buy any new things that I don't really need. I love candles and I always buy lots of shampoo and things like that but I don't need them as I have about 12 candles and lots of shampoo. I have lots of clothes (need new jeans though) and lots of notepads etc. so I really don't need anything else.

3) Put all my pennies in a pot, as they just go on my side and my daughter normally takes them or they fall on the floor and get eaten by the hoover. It won't get you a lot of money but it will be a start.

4) And the last thing to do is just to save money where you can. It's easier than you think most of the time and Disney are doing offers so keep an eye and work out what's the best offer for you. The best offer for us is to get a free dining plan and a $100 gift voucher.

Good luck with your saving.

My Poor Little Blog

I feel so sorry for my little blog, even though I said a few months ago that I would get back into it, I just haven't.  I haven’t felt like I’ve been in the mood to do it.  So the other day I went for a walk just to think about where my little blog will be going as the domain name for it will need to be renewed.

And I think the walk did its job.  I will be keeping the domain name for it but doing things slightly differently.  This blog seems to be a bit all over the place so I’ve decided to concentrate on two things.  And they are two things that I am really into:

1) Progress on my little business (and I do mean that my little business).  It’s not much at the moment but hopefully it will turn into something bigger.

2) Disney. Yes I’m a 32-year-old wowan that is slightly obsessed with Disney.  I also have a little Disney fan in my 10-year-old daughter.  I’ve already set up a YouTube channel to do with Disney called Parkers do Disney, which we enjoy doing together.  It’s not great videos skills but it’s fun doing it together.

There may be some slight life updates but for now it’s mainly about those two. I am hoping April will be the start of this blog coming back from the ashes.

Bye 2018, Hello 2019

Well for my little blog, 2018 hasn’t been the best, I managed a whopping 17 blog posts which is atrocious.  So for me in 2018 I just clearly fell out of love with my blog (not you lovely people who are reading it of course) but for 2019 I have given it a little makeover  so hopefully I will fall back into loving my blog as I have missed it.

I thought I would take the time to say bye-bye to 2018 as you have been a good year (we went to Disney World again, hehe).  That said, Little Miss P broke her arm again but everything else has just been pretty smooth sailing.
Oh and quit my job.  So I’m going into 2019 without a job.

I can see 2019 being a bit more of an interesting year, maybe challenging. The truth be told I can’t really tell what’s going to happen in 2019 other than my sister is getting married and Little Miss P will start high school, which I am nervous about. But that is pretty much the only thing that I know will happen in 2019. Obviously I have some goals that I want to work towards and obviously there are some thing that I don’t want to happen.

So Hello to 2019: please be nice to me and I will be nice to you back :-)

Love
Mrs P
