Photo Gallery: Play

I haven't done this over the last few weeks and I am glad I am back here as I enjoy doing the Photo Gallery blog hop. This week is all about play and as I have just got back from Devon seeing some of the family, Little Miss P has done lots of playing with her cousins. They are all older then her, one by only two years and the oldest is 21 years old. I thought that the older ones wouldn't
want to play with her and one of them didn't as she had a cold, but all the others did. She played with the little two most, Flower Allen and Little Allen as they are closest to her age.

Even the Workout Allen had a good play with them and helped her out playing with the Wii. It was a lovely weekend and enjoyed by all.

Things I would say to my teenage self.

When I was a teenager there were lots of different groups at school; the popular lot, brainiacs, etc... you get my drift. I was in the group of the non-popular - I had a good group of friends who I hung around with, but that's it. I wouldn't say that I enjoyed school, I felt like that I had to go to school as it was a requirement. I will go more into that on another blog post, as I am thinking about doing a little school series on here with a bit about when I was at school and a bit about Little Miss P's school, as I have a lot to say about her school now I see it through a mum's set of eyes.

There are so many things that I would say to my teenage self. I don't really know where to start as there are so many things, but I am going to say four of them for now.

1) The number one thing would be 'Don't care what people think of you'. There will always be bitches in the school who will just be mean for the fun of it because they have nothing better to do.

2) Just have fun and be a kid still while you can, because when you're older you will miss it.

3) Work hard at school and try and work out what you want to be when you're older. It will pay off when you're stuck in a job that you don't enjoy.

4) There is no point being sad, leave it behind you and carry on with what you love.

Little one's School Update

A bit of sale shopping.

The other day we went on a little shopping trip to Bluewater to do some sale shopping.

We popped into Lakeland and got a few Xmas bits for this year. I first saw this cute Santa's Sleigh mould, I just fell in love with it and can't wait to give this a go.

We also went to Paperchase and I really want to do a little scrapbook with Summer. It would be a good Mum and Daughter thing to do, I have got a few photos printed off already, but need lots more though.

These are the two main things we got and a few other little things that I have put away in their cupboards or boxes.

Hope you enjoyed this little blog post.

Back to Routine

We're back to the normal routine of school, house work and just general life.

Little Miss P went back to school on Wednesday 7th and it's hard getting her back into a routine, with going back to bed at 7pm when she has been going to bed at 9pm and waking up at 9am.

(Just a cute photo of Little Miss P and cousin Issy)

So right now I have a not so tired little girly on my hands even though I thought she would be, and a very tired me. It's been a few weeks since I got up at 7.30am and have been yawning since 10.00am. So I am trying to keep myself awake with lots of tea.

First day back at school and little one's been telling me all about it. She's been learning about Christianity and what happens when you go to church. I like to try and keep up with Little Miss P and what she's doing at school and bring it home to learn a bit more. I would rather do that with Maths and English and not RE, but will do a bit on Christianity as I am Christian and it be good for her to learn more about that and for me to get back in touch with my religious side.

That's it's for now, I am off to play with some Lego with my Little Lady then read her book from school with her.

My Monthly Goals

My Monthly Goals

I have planned to do a little Monthly Goals list, just little Goals to help me with my bigger ones

1) To film three YouTube videos, as it's a little promise to Little Miss P that I would do and keep up with it

2) Get my blog its own web page... Will need a lot of from the hubby with it as he's the technical one in the family

3)  Do Wii Fit everyday for at least 15 minutes a day, to help me on the path of having a fitter 2015

4) To go on at least one Forest family walk

5) To do at least one blog post a week, I should 100% be able to do this, as I have been doing that for the past year and for most of it have done it... I may have missed three weeks of it at some point.

6) Drink less tea, I have so much tea it's crazy. I can drink up to 7 cups of tea a day and it's just not normal. So I am slowly going to cut down, one bit at a time.

Cinderella @ Sir James Hawkey Hall Woodford

Cinderella
@ Sir James Hawkey Hall
Woodford

Every year we go to a panto at Hawkey Hall, well for the past three years. It's a little hall near where we live, but they put on a great show. We know some of the people in it as well, so that makes it even more fun for Little Miss P to see.

The props were good and just really well done. I am amazed at how well all the props were, and the outfits were just so good and well made. Little Miss P and Master Hill loved the show so much. The photo above is of my sister's mate who she works with, he played the king. He was just great at it.

Little Miss P also got to go up on stage. I really didn't think she would as she was so scared before hand but she got up there and did it. She also got some sweets and a balloon to take home. Bless her.

All the cast were great and even when bits went wrong the cast just played on and it made it more funny, They also had different music including a bit from Frozen and some from Wicked. I loved it and can't wait to go again next year as it's full of adult and child fun. You have to get your tickets quickly though as it is normally sold out.

My Christmas

My Christmas was a fun filled few days, going to see both sides of the family.

So on Christmas day we woke up at home to open our gifts that were under the tree. Then by 1pm we were off to my mummy's house for dinner, where most of my family where... my sisters and their kids, mum and stepdad and even my nanna. Boxing Day was just time spent at home with the hubby and Summer, so she could play with some of her new toys.

On the 27th we went up to Mr P's mum and dad for their family meal. His older sister couldn't make it this year and Mr P's uncle couldn't make it, so it was a small meal compared to last year. We stayed at his mum and dad's that night just so Mr P could have a drink. The next day we went to my sister's house in Braintree where my aunt, mum and nanna were.

I was glad to get home after all that.

Here are a few little bits that I got from a few people... first up is this nice big jewellery box, it fits all my little bits and bobs in.

I also got this lovely Yankee Candle, Snowflake Cookie... it smells sweet and just like a cookie,
it's one of my favourite Christmas candles.

And my hubby knows me so well, he got me this lovely Christmas planner for next year as he know's that I love starting to buy things in January.

Well that was only a few of them, I hope you had a great start to 2015 and it carries on that way.

My Hopes for 2015

Yes, it's 2015, woohoo...! Happy New Year...

This is a little blog post to just write my hopes for 2015. I am not going to have a full list of things this year as I did last year and most of them didn't happen, so I am not going to get my hopes up again like I did last year.

1) To carry on having a happy little family who care for each and support each other in everything we do. Look out for one another to.

2) Get this blog its own domain name, I really need the hubby's help for this one as he's the tech one in the family. And also set up my header with the logo and carry on enjoying doing my little blog and maybe make some money from it.

3) See my friends more. We all have busy lives at the moment, it's the time of our lives where we're so busy with work and children. Sometimes though we just need to take time for ourselves and catch up with mates.

4)  Youtube life. I don't really have a youtube life at the moment as I don't have a youtube channel, well I do just with nothing on it. I will leave the link here for it. Hehe, a little plug there. I said to Little Miss P that I will start in November and I haven't yet, oh dear. I don't have a clue what it's going to be about yet.

5) Work on things that I really want to work on and not be scared about doing. Just go out and get it.

That's it for my hopes for 2015, I will keep you updated at the end of each month to let you know how it is all going.

Mrs P
