Our Vtech InnoTab 2 Adventure...

InnoTab 2 Adventure

Our adventure started off when this little thing landed on out door step... the Vtech InnoTab 2.  It comes in a cute box and the InnoTab is pink. As you have guessed, Little Miss P couldn't wait to get her hands on it!! She calls it her pad, like an iPad or laptop, I think because she likes the idea of having her own version of what adults have.

To start with she loved the game and the story that came with it, but it wasn't too long before I found she was getting bored and needed a case for it. So Father Christmas got her two more games, a cover and a charger as it it does take a lot of battery life. If your little ones uses it a lot you'll be spending a small fortune on batteries if you don't buy a charger!

Little Miss P's best game is the Disney Princess one - she just loves it! Reading the stories, playing the games... what's not to love about it, playing with the Princesses. And the best thing of all, it's got her favourite Princess Belle on it.

We need to try downloading something on to it still. We just haven't had to yet as she's not bored of the new games yet, but when she needs a new challenge i will check out the downloads.
I will keep you updated on our InnoTab 2 adventure, but for now I'm giving it 4 stars!

Resolutions 2013

Resolutions 2013

This year I have written a list and I fully intend to stick to it. I am a bit of a procrastinator. I truly believe that if you really want something, you can get it. I thought I would share my resolutions with you, as I know reading other peoples' gives me inspiration and motivation.

Clean the house more -Yes i know, but I need to keep on top of it and try to do a little bit each day. I don't like cleaning, I just dont see it being fun. x

Blog more often - I love my little blog, it's nice to just sit and write what's in my head, even though some of it is me in my own little little world. But it's me and no-one else.

Save more money Last year we spent lots of money, and I don't really know what we spent it on. So this year we just have to be careful. Only spend what we need to.

Do More Excersice - Over the past few years after the birth of my daughter (that's four years now) and i still have a jelly belly. I don't want to go back to the size 8 i was, just tone up a bit and feel more healthy in myself.

Have lots more fun with my family - I want to have lots more fun and that doesn't mean going out all the time, i want the fun to be in the garden, at home drawing and colouring with my daughter and cooking with Mr P or playing the Wii together. Family fun without spending the money.

Cook more - Mr P loves cooking and I'm not so keen. I don't mind cooking i just don't see the fun in it. But I am going to see if i can get into it... without burning all the food.

Winter Wonderland at Center Parcs 2012 (Part Two)

Welcome back to part two of Winter Wonderland at Center Parcs 2012

If you have ever been to center parcs you know that badminton is a great thing to do - you can do it in all weathers as it's inside.

Most of the time first thing in the morning we would all have our cup of tea, a bit of toast and then feed the ducks, before a full day of fun.

We did some pottery painting as a family - we all had fun, even Little Miss P. But she did get bored after a while.

One thing Little Miss P loved was pony riding. She asked if she could do it again but it was fully booked for the next day. Even Little Man Hill wanted a go but he was too young as you have to be three. By the time we go again this Xmas he should be able to do it.

We also saw Father Christmas and his elf. After Little Miss P was so brave and she held a tiny owl... I was very surprised that she did. She's not normally that brave.

On the Sunday night, Little Miss P and I were going home as she had her school trip the next day, but we got to see the fireworks with the rest of family. I really enjoyed it and it was a great way to end the hoilday. It would have been even better if Little Miss P enjoyed them, but everyone else did.
