The Only Way Is Up
by Carole Matthews

About the book:

Lily & Laurence Lamont-Jones had it all - the big house, nice cars, lavish holiday & a top private school for their two children. Until Laurence loses his job in the city with the house, the cars and everything else. With their so called mates turning their back on them with no where else to go, it's off to the council to get a council house on a rough estate, to try and start rebuilding their life back. Will Lily make new friends? Will Laurence find a new job?

My view:

I could not put this down. It's full of excitement & the day to day life of trying to find your feet again with the ups and downs of life. Wish everyone was like Lily and Laurence sticking through thick and thin and making the most of what you've got. I laughed and cried reading this book and would recommend this book to anyone who wants a good laugh and cry, with a kick up the bum to get you more motivated.

I would love to do this with my family but we are waiting for Little Miss P is seven years old so that she can enjoy it to.

2) Pay off my mortgage
i am gussing everyone would love to do that.

3)  See the northern lights
Alway wanted to do this

4) Help my family in any way possible
my family are my world, and i love them to bits  and would do anythink for them

5) ) Jump out of a plane

My sister is doing this in october i am hopeing to try it next year

6) Give Blood

 I always say i am going to do this but never get round to it.

7)  Go to New York

on a shopping girly holiday

8) Go on a cruise

just so i can feel posh for a few day lol :0)

9) See Little Miss P get married

to the man of her dreams i have a few years to wait yet.

10) Run my own business

 Would love to run my own shop one day.

Little Miss P's Room

I love Little Miss P's room. It was the spare room and when we found out that I was expecting we started looking at things but didn't do anything until I was three months gone. We went to Mama & Papas, but as we didn't want to know the sex we went with yellow and the Zeddy and Parsnip range. I fell in love with the range and it was perfect for the room and her. Now that she's three her room works for her still but it's becoming a bit more of a girly room with pink in it. There are lots more toys and teddy bears with a table and chairs so she can read her books and do her drawings.

my little bit of good news x

A little bit of good news x

I am sooooo happy Little Miss P got into Busy bees pre-school. It's only for three days a week for three hours at a time, but that's all she needs. She does swimming lessons and dancing lessons and i didn't really want her to stop doing them. She loves doing them, and no point stopping her doing them if i don't have to.

I do love Little Miss P to bits but it's going to be nice to have some time without her for a bit in the week... not sure what i'll do yet tho. So that's my little bit of good news for today. Hope i get some more good news soon.
